The Engineering Chemistry Department at AJIET has well qualified, experienced and highly motivating faculty members. The department is a recognized research center by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) since 2018. Two faculties are recognized as research supervisors at VTU. Department is well equipped Laboratory with all the essential apparatus and glassware required as per the VTU curriculum.. The department aims to feed the Engineers with finer aspects of Chemistry, to understand and exploit the latest technologies and to innovate, thus contributing to the development of technology.
The Department of Physics was established in the year 2016 and maintains a creditable record of good performance in teaching and research. The department has very good infrastructure with well-equipped spacious laboratories, good computational and research facilities. Currently, the department is running with three dedicated teaching faculty, a lab assistant and an attender. All the faculty members of the department are PhD holders.
The department mainly emphasizes to provide platform in order to nurture the young minds to meet the challenges in present day technology in this revolutionary world based on innovations and principles of physics. After establishment, the department is striving hard to achieve excellent results through synergistic combination of teaching and research. The department also work towards the accomplishment of mission, vision and goal of the institution.
The department is VTU recognized research Centre since 2017.The faculty members of the Department have published more than 27 research papers in the journals of repute and presented many symposia/conferences/workshop of national and international level. The department has received funding for conducting research from VTU TEQIP CELL. Apart from these, the department is actively indulged in conducting several faculty development programme (FDP), conference and workshops.
The Department of Mathematics at AJIET was established in the year 2016 along with the inception of the college. Strong mathematical background has always been fundamentally important for all engineering students. Major objective of the Department is to provide the best mathematical foundation required to strengthen the backbone of all Engineering Departments by enhancing student's mathematical thinking and learning.
The Department has well qualified and experienced staff members. Our faculty members are striving to impart excellent teaching in mathematics. Apart from teaching, the faculty members are actively involved in research in the areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics.
The faculty members of the Department have published more than 30 research papers in the journals of repute and attended and presented many symposia/conferences/workshop of national and international level. Apart from these, the department is actively indulged in conducting several faculty development programmes (FDP), conference and workshops in near future.
The department is recognized as a research centre, by VTU in the Year 2017.
